External Communications Manager

We are seeking a senior experienced Communications professional to lead the external communication and corporate strategies and enhance the company's visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive external communication plans to promote the company's purpose effectively, focused on research & innovative drive.
- Manage public relations activities, including media relations, press releases, and press conferences.
- Communication of the company milestones to regulators, authorities and institutions.
- Lead the creation of compelling content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, press, and the company website.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure messaging consistency across all channels.
- Help the company's primary spokesperson, ensuring clear and positive communication during media interactions.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to refine strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
- Crisis management. Planning and management of programs to communicate the achievements of the company addressed to the authorities and media. Lobby actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, stakeholders, scientific associations and key media contacts.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field with a Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications role within the Life Sciences sector or a similar industry.
- Proven experience in managing public relations and media relations at a corporate level.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in Spanish & English.
- Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage external stakeholders.
