We are currently partnering with a leading company in the HVAC sector, part of a multinational group, to recruit an R&D Project Manager. This role is critical in driving innovation, managing cross-functional projects, and contributing to the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions within the Commercial Heat Pumps division.

Role Purpose:

The R&D Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver R&D projects. The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to defined quality and technical specifications, while proactively identifying and resolving risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and manage cross-functional R&D project teams to ensure high performance and effective collaboration.

• Define, plan, and maintain project scope, requirements, schedules, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.

• Secure and optimize the allocation of internal and external resources required for project execution.

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, dependencies, and resource needs.

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.

• Consolidate and maintain all key project components, including scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, and quality standards.

• Monitor project performance against KPIs such as time-to-market, cost efficiency, and quality targets.

• Lead governance processes and project reviews, ensuring clear reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.

• Prepare and maintain business cases to justify project investments and expected returns.

• Ensure the identification and realization of business benefits from projects and programs.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

• 3–5 years of experience in Project Management

• Experience in industrial environments

• Proven experience managing cross-functional or diverse teams

• English proficiency (minimum B2 level)

Desirable

• Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or related sectors

• Experience working in international environments
