On this occasion, our client is a subsidiary of a listed multinational group. The company specializes in manufacturing and designing high-quality systems and devices.

We are currently seeking a professional who will be responsible for managing technical marketing documentation and the product database. The role focuses heavily on the formatting, presentation, and regular updating of documentation, as well as managing and improving our systems to transition toward a broader and enhanced digital information offering.

Similarly, this position will not be responsible for the core technical content itself, but rather for its formatting, presentation, external communication, and integration with various IT systems.

The ideal candidate will help drive the transition toward integrated digital technical information for both B2B and B2C channels. You will also maintain a comprehensive overview of our product portfolio to execute your tasks with confidence and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Information Management: Manage product data (creations, deletions, modifications) within our M3 ERP system.

• Database & Pricing: Serve as the Marketing owner for the product database and manage product price lists.

• Digital Data Requests: Respond to digital product information requests from our distribution network.

• Compliance & Coding: Handle EAN (product coding), RIIS (BDR quality data management system), ErP (EU Product regulations), and EPREL (EU product database).

• ErP Labeling: Supervise the ErP labeling program.

• Documentation & PIM Management: Manage technical documentation and the PIM (Product Information Management) system, ensuring web synchronization, updating references, and developing new PIM functionalities.

• Catalogs & Directories: Coordinate the annual Master Product & Price Catalog with external agencies, including the pocket/agenda version.

• Web & Metadata Optimization: Update and develop product information on the website, documentation, and metadata.

• Prescriptive Tools: Update PRESTO and CAD catalogs, and write expanded/long product descriptions for budgeting and tendering purposes.

• System Integration: Link product data with the CRM and IRIS systems.

• Collateral & Warranties: Oversee the creation of technical product documentation and manage product warranty cards.

• Data Hierarchy: Maintain the product hierarchy system.

• Product Management Support: Assist Product Managers in updating technical and commercial documentation, as well as supporting product onboarding and spare parts management.

• Analytics & Reporting: Utilize Cognos and Power BI for product statistics.

• Cross-Functional Support: Assist with technical translations, provide information to the Quality department, and resolve technical inquiries for regional teams, Solutions, and Customer Service.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Higher Technical Degree (Vocational Training) in Electronics or a related field.

• Software: Experience with product data management software (ERP/PIM).

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience managing technical documentation.

• Soft Skills: Proactive, autonomous, a strong team player, and an effective problem-solver.

The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
